Recommended TH5 Upgrade Order
TH5 adds the Spell Factory and stronger splash defense. Offensive upgrades should still lead because reliable farming pays for every later building.
Simple Rule: Unlock spells and improve the main army before spending heavily on Wizard Towers and other defenses.

Should Offense or Defense Come First at TH5?
For most players, offense should come first because stronger farming and war attacks fund every later upgrade. Build the offensive foundation, then improve the strongest defenses.
Should I Max Everything Before Leaving TH5?
You do not need every collector, trap, or wall completed before moving on, but your main army, key buildings, and Hero progression should be strong enough to farm and attack reliably at the next Town Hall.
Is This the Only Correct Upgrade Order?
No. This is a balanced recommendation. Builders, Magic Items, preferred armies, war schedule, and available resources can justify changing the order.
